We had our best run last night, 6 bosses down, including, ahem, Heigan The Unclean. Ok, it was Vieri, Rosenta, Ellenium, Falron and Daeo who got him down. It was actually 3 manned for the last 35% or so, awesome! Great job guys, the rest of us can't dance. Congrats to Ellenium on his first raid with us, nicely done and he got 3 pieces!

I just want to make something official. We all know that healer and ranged DPS gear are all the same now, due to spell power being added to the game. We are going to give precedence on certain gear based on two stats, MP5 and hit. If gear has MP5 on it, healers will get to bid first, if gear has hit, ranged DPS gets dips. If the main class doesn't bid, then by all means, the secondary class can definitely bid on gear. This will avoid to an extent useless stats on our gear.

Merry Christmas guys. I've been sick the last few days, finally getting over it now! Just a few things I wanted to post about too. We're going to start having some guild events, kind of some fun things to do in lieu of raiding, heroics etc. We got some great ideas from people, so feel free to suggest anything else.

1. Guild Bank Auction. This was Hotcha's idea, and it's pretty sweet. Every Sunday at 7 pm server time, we're going to have a silent auction of everything in the Officer Tab. All of the profit will be put back into the Guild Bank. Remember, try not to bet TOO high, or you may end up paying more than you would on the AH. We tried this last weekend, and it's a lot of fun.

2. Scavenger Hunt. This was DocDoom's idea, and will be lots of fun too. Hotcha and I used to do these a lot when we were kids, running around town, setting these up. We'll probably have one of two kinds. Collect X number of items, first person to get them all, wins some kind of prize. The second kind will be more out of game based, such as take a screenshot of yourself in a full tuxedo while standing next to a hippo or something ridiculous like that. Then we'll post them to the site. We don't have all the details ironed out yet, but check out THIS, lol, it'll get you prepared.

3. This was proposed by Atemisk, another good idea. PvP within guild. Basically we'll have one on one duels, and the guildies will bet on who will win. In the beginning, we'll just randomly draw names of who fights who. Once we get some win-loss records, we'll have odds, and you can either bet on say Obo, who is 11-0. Say he is fighting me, who is 0-11. The odds will be something like 9-1 that Obo beats me. If you want to bet on Obo, you put up 100G to only win......10. BUT if you bet on me, you put up 10G to win 100. This could be a good time.

Obviously none of this is required for any guildie, but could be lots of fun. We'll be ironing out the details within the next week, and PLEASE comment with any ideas that you have for future events.

Hioooo. We got down Noth The Plaguebringer last night, after a little change of strategy. Instead of concentrating on all the adds, we basically just burnt down Noth. Awesome job by the healers on this fight keeping up Falron and Lowblower. 5/15 in Naxx-10, we're getting there! We got a few more 80's, so let's get them geared up and running with us! Naxx went well last night, we got down Patchwerk! Awesome healing and DPS guys, I didn't think we were gonna do it. I just want to post a few things about out future and what BT is all about, as we are going to have some new people hit 80 soon.

First, we are a casual raiding guild. What is that exactly? Some might say it's a guild that raids whenever they can, probably wipes a ton, and doesn't really make any progression and doesn't read up on boss fights, as well as never brings consumables or comes prepared. Others (me included) defines it as a guild that raids no more than 3 nights a week for about 3 hours per night. You come prepared and ready to run for 3 solid hours. This isn't to say we can't have fun, but we don't have the time a lot of the bigger guilds have, so we need to really focus and make the most of our time.

BT isn't a guild that you can come into and expect to be fully Naxx geared within 2 weeks, that's just not gonna happen. We are here to learn the fights, and get the satisfaction of downing them all by ourselves, as a guild, with no T8 toons carrying us. There was nothing better than downing Prince for the first time as a guild.

That being said, it's not always going to be easy. We WILL be wiping a lot on most new bosses, and you WILL be racking up big repair bills, it's the nature of the beast. Please be prepared to wipe 6-7 times before we either down a boss or move on to another one. There will be times we one shot bosses no doubt, but just a warning.

We are going to be getting a bunch more 80's coming up soon. Please please please come prepared to Naxx. Run some heroics, run some regular instances. When I hit 80 I could get an upgrade from literally any instance, heroic or not. I can still get upgrades for every heroic, plus you get badges, which will get you some really great gear. Craftables are also a great way to gear up for raiding, and now most of them are BoE, so that is an option too. Once you are geared up, then it's Naxx time. None of us are geared up enough that we can afford to have somebody not pulling their weight, and we really want everybody who wants to raid, be able to.

We are also currently working on a rotation to get everybody in to run Naxx, we hope to be running two groups once we get more people to 80, and to switch up some healers so they can DPS. More to come.

The officers are currently devising are loot distribution system. We are going to try to be as fair as possible. We may do something like giving healers dibs on gear with MP5 on it, and casters dibs with spell hit on it. We don't have anything concrete yet, but we will soon.
