Old Requirements

1. What are the minimum requirements for starting Naxx-10?

Naxx:
Ranged DPS: 1300 Spell Power or at least 1800DPS on Patchwerk.
Melee DPS: 1800DPS on Patchwerk
Healers: 1400 Spell Power
Tank: 23K HP, 540 Defense.

These are the BARE minimums, please don't sign up if you fall below them, or you will kindly be asked to leave the Raid group. These are pretty lenient minimums to begin with, and there are so many ways to get better gear to meet these minimums. Run instances, grind reputation, and even buy a few items you are lacking from the AH. And also, "do your research". And of course, ask guildies for help! That's what we're here for.

2. What nights do you raid on?

We run Naxx-10 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and are starting to run Naxx-25 on Sundays. We start at 7:30 pm, server time, please try to be on time .

3. How do I sign up?

You will get an in-game invite, so be sure to check out your calendar. We have one group that is currently running 10 man reguarly, but want to get a second group started, as more of us are hitting 80. Gear up!!

4. How is gear handed out?

We use a Suicide Kings system for distributing loot in guild raids. If it's your first time running with us, you be assigned to the bottom of the list. If a piece of loot drops that you want, you /w the master looter "bid" and if you are in the list's highest position among the bidders, you receive the loot. You then go to the last place on the list. If you're not the highest bidder, you remain where you are on the list, but the winner goes to the bottom. You can win multiple items each night if you are the sole bidder.

This system allows for fairer loot distribution among more casual raiders than DKP does while still making sure that everyone gets a shot at loot, and the list order is maintained across all guild raids.

Healers will get first shot at gear with mp5 on it, while caster DPS will get first shot at gear with hit on it. Off spec gets the next priority - you do not move down in the list for receiving off spec gear unless you receive two items in one night.

5. What consumables am I expected to bring?

All raiders are required to be flasked and have food buffs, as well as any health and mana pots. These are available in the Raid Tab in the Guild Bank. We usually have some pots available, but if you think you will need more, please buy them or have them created. Hotcha is a high level alchemist, and would be happy to make them for you. On progression nights, bring double what you think you'll need. Officers will be using Big Brother to check who has flasks/food buffs. We do not raid as often as hard core guilds, we need all the advantages we can get, this one is a no brainer.

6. What addons do I need?

The required addons are Deadly Boss Mods, Omen and Vent. You don't have to have a microphone for Vent, but we require you to install the application and configure it to our channel. The channel information is on this sites homepage. If you are added to the raid and don't have these, please log and install them, they are that important.

7. Do I have to pay for my own repairs?

Yes. Each raider is expected to pay for his/her own repairs. On progression nights, these may get pricey for some classes. We will not skip bosses because you cannot afford your repair bill! So don't ask. :) If you cannot afford the repair bills, please do not raid until you are able to.

8. Is there anything else I need to know?

Read up on the boss fights. Especially if you haven't ran Naxx in the old days. There is a link HERE for all of Naxx-10 strats. Everybody is going to make mistakes, but we need to learn from those mistakes. Do not get discouraged if you get called out for doing something wrong, it happens. Just try to avoid the mistake on the next attempt.
